Git workflows
Inspect and commit changes in a project's inherited working folder.
Open Git changes from the project menu. The repository must be rooted at the selected project folder inside the allowed local workspace.
Review before committing
- Initialize Git if the folder is not already a repository.
- Inspect changed files and their diffs.
- Select files to stage or unstage.
- Review the staged diff and write a commit message.
- Commit the staged changes, or create and switch to a new branch.
Git actions reject stale snapshots; refresh if another process changes the index while you are reviewing. Agents do not automatically commit or push.
